ISR becomes part of the CENIT Group

Cenit AG acquires a majority stake in ISR Information Products AG. The partnership brings a significant expansion of expertise and a pioneering position in information management and document logistics.

On April 3, 2022, CENIT AG acquired a majority stake in ISR Information Products AG. ISR founders Bernd Rosemeyer and Manfred Merßmann remain significant shareholders of ISR AG. The investment is intended to bundle the expertise of both companies in the field of document logistics and information management and to achieve a joint, strong market position. ISR will continue to operate under its own name - with the additional designation of CENIT.

It is an important milestone for both companies on their way to becoming the "number one" in document logistics and information management: On April 3, 2022, CENIT AG acquires a 74.9% majority stake in ISR Information Products AG (ISR). 25.1% of ISR shares remain in the hands of founders Bernd Rosemeyer and Manfred Merßmann, whose Management Board contracts were extended for a further three years.

For our customers, this means that with Buildsimple they now have an even stronger partner at their side when it comes to input management, which means that further, even faster development of the Buildsimple platform can be expected in the future.

The addition "a CENIT Company" expresses the integration into the CENIT Group, the associated size and solid capital strength. In the medium term, a part of the CENIT business unit "Enterprise Information Management" (EIM) will also be merged with ISR in terms of both technical expertise and personnel.

There will be close synergies with many existing ISR business units. With around 300 experts in the field of information management, ISR will be excellently positioned as a Cenit company in the D-A-CH market region. The combined portfolio will include solutions for holistic, industry-wide document and information logistics. This includes products, services and consulting services relating to document and process management, customer communication and the analysis of data and documents. The company's performance in the managed service volume business and application management will also be further expanded.
