Buildsimple has an ISO 27001 certification. ISO/IEC 27001 is an international standard for Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) and their requirements. The standard specifies the requirements for the introduction, implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of an information security management system.

Data processing
Buildsimple's product infrastructure is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) in Frankfurt, Germany. AWS has SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certifications, among others, and certified protection includes dedicated security personnel, rigorously enforced physical access controls, and video surveillance. Encryption
Your data is temporarily stored SHA-encrypted for the processing time and directly deleted after processing. All public interfaces are only accessible via secured HTTPS connections.
Security in the cloud
All our services are Developed and managed in a DSGVO compliant manner: Each client signs a standard or specific data processing agreement with Buildsimple. This agreement contains the list of personal data processed and the information of the processing supply chain. After a customer unsubscribes from Buildsimple, all information is automatically and completely deleted.

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a European Union regulation that standardizes the rules for the processing of personal data by most private and public data processors throughout the EU. This is intended to ensure, on the one hand, the protection of personal data within the European Union and, on the other hand, the free movement of data within the European single market.
The GDPR regulates data protection for all EU citizens and all people residing within the EU. No distinction is made between B2B (business) or B2C (consumer).
You retain full control over where your data physically resides at all times, allowing you to meet your regional compliance requirements regarding where you keep your data.
All our services are developed and operated in a GDPR compliant manner.

Buildsimple's product infrastructure is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) in Frankfurt, Germany.
The AWS infrastructure has strong security measures in place to protect customers' data. All data is stored in tightly secured AWS data centers.
AWS manages dozens of compliance programs in the infrastructure. This means that your compliance requirements are already partially met.
Security is scaled according to your AWS cloud usage. No matter how big or small your business is, AWS infrastructure protects your data.

Neural networks need to be trained to produce good results. Buildsimple supports the training of any model for any document type. For some document types, Buildsimple already has trained models that are ready to use, e.g. for invoices or claims.
