Buildsimple partners with AWS

Buildsimple, a provider of an AI-based cloud platform for intelligent document processing, announced that it will be a launch partner for the AWS European Sovereign Cloud. This is a new, independent cloud for Europe that is expected to be launched by the end of 2025 in the German state of Brandenburg. 

The Buildsimple platform for Intelligent Document Processing by Buildsimple will be available in the AWS European Sovereign Cloud and will continue to support its growing European customer base. The Buildsimple solution provides AI-based, document-centric sovereignty by automatically classifying, extracting, and processing sensitive business and customer documents within the EU, ensuring that customers receive the same security, availability, and performance they expect from AWS. This enables European companies and public institutions in highly regulated industries to meet stringent requirements for operational autonomy and data sovereignty within the European Union (EU). 

The AWS European Sovereign Cloud is a fully featured, independently operated sovereign cloud. It is supported by strict technical controls, sovereign safeguards, and legal protections tailored to the needs of European governments and businesses. The AWS European Sovereign Cloud infrastructure is planned entirely within the EU and will be operated independently of existing regions. Day-to-day operations will be managed exclusively by AWS employees based in the EU. This includes access to the data centers as well as technical support and customer service for the AWS European Sovereign Cloud. As with the existing AWS regions, customers retain control and the assurance that AWS will neither access customer data nor use it for any other purpose without their consent. They benefit from the strictest sovereignty controls among leading cloud providers.
