At the intersection of product, architecture and team leadership, he translates business requirements into sound technical concepts and turns them into solutions that are scalable, maintainable and robust in everyday use.

With many years of experience in software architecture, product development and technical team leadership, Hendrik guides the development of cloud and SaaS solutions from the initial idea through to production operations. In doing so, he combines strategic product thinking with technical depth—from API and microservice architectures to serverless and container-based AWS platforms, as well as reliable quality and delivery processes.

His focus is on bringing technology and people together. For Hendrik, great products emerge where technological possibilities, genuine user needs and close collaboration between teams, customers and stakeholders come together. His goal is to create solutions that reduce complexity, ease the burden on teams and deliver measurable value quickly.

A current focus of his work is on AI agents and machine learning-based product approaches, and on the question of how they can make specialised teams more productive and enable new product experiences. Hendrik takes a pragmatic approach: using AI where it improves speed, efficiency and product quality—with clear human responsibility for architecture, quality assurance and product decisions.

Outside of work, Hendrik enjoys spending time with his family and finds balance from technology through badminton and running.
