Dr. Dominique Meiländer

At Buildsimple, Dominique Meiländer stands for the use of AI that consistently translates technological excellence and quality into products and customer solutions. As Head of AI, he is responsible for advancing the AI stack, provides technical leadership to the AI team, and shapes the strategic direction of the AI division. Together with his team, he creates the conditions for AI to be used reliably in Buildsimple products and for customer solutions to be continuously developed in terms of quality, scalability, and production operation.

Since Buildsimple was founded in 2017, Dominique has helped build the company's AI division and has played a key role in shaping its development. His work aims to integrate AI into products in such a way that technological possibilities become robust solutions for real processes. In doing so, he strengthens the foundation for companies to use AI operationally with high quality, secure handling of sensitive data, and sustainable ongoing development.

His work is characterised by machine learning, data analysis, cloud-native development, and the security- and privacy-conscious design of AI solutions. In his role, Dominique combines deep technical expertise with leadership responsibility and a clear commitment to quality. Together with his team, he ensures that AI at Buildsimple is not viewed as an isolated technology, but as an effective component of products and customer solutions.

Dominique earned a Dr. rer. nat. in Computer Science from the University of Münster. His research focused on parallel and distributed systems, particularly in the field of cloud computing. This scientific depth continues to shape his work today: with a clear focus on architecture, scaling, and the requirements of AI solutions that must remain viable in production over the long term.
